I am pleased to announce that The Bradley Center has been awarded with a Sanctuary Model Resiliency Award for our agency’s fortitude in 2020. We decided as a unified team, that to be successful in facing this pandemic head on we needed the collective input of our Bradley community. Open communication, shared governance, social responsibility and focus on all seven commitments of the Sanctuary Model have been critical in helping us maintain an environment that promotes the necessary adaptation to change.
We would like to say that we have “overcome formidable obstacles” (which we have), but much work still needs to be done to help our children, families, and community work through the trauma we have all experienced professionally and personally. The pandemic has created feelings of uncertainty, loss, and fear. We all need to focus on strengthening our resiliency. With that knowledge firmly in our hearts, we will persevere.
