For students at The Bradley School, 2020-2021 classes began on September 1, and the kids have adjusted well to the “new normal” of learning despite the complications of the coronavirus pandemic.
Commuter students attend school at The Bradley Center in the mornings five days a week for in-person instruction, and students who live at The Bradley Center attend school in the afternoons. Both groups participate in remote learning when they are not in the classrooms. They also have access to their teachers for 1:1 instruction via phone.
The students quickly learned this year’s critical safety protocols. Classroom student capacity is reduced to allow for safe social distancing. Traffic patterns throughout the school create separate lanes and entry/exit points. To keep everyone safe, classrooms and common areas are disinfected three times a day. And of course students and teachers wear masks. The students even decorated their own masks during the first week of school!
