Angie Longo has been a force in the non-profit community for years. She is a retired professional banker who spent decades making corporate gifts on behalf of her employers to needy non-profits. Since her retirement, she has continued to provide support to the organizations lucky to know her, including the children and families of the Bradley Center. Here’s why:
- She always volunteers when she is needed. She single-handedly puts together the packages for the Silent Auction for A Gathering of Chefs. In the last three years EVERY package has been bid on, an amazing string of successes! Often when a package can use a bit more…Angie buys it or creates it!
- She always donates, whether by contributing to the auction packages, buying a table for A Gathering of Chefs and bringing her family and friends, contributing to The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Day of Giving so that her gift is matched, donating a case of wine for the Wine Wall for A Gathering of Chefs, or buying tickets for the Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day raffles.
- Perhaps most importantly, she is always willing to share information about the needs of the children and Bradley by forwarding requests for help and support to her family and many friends. We can count on Angie to be a great ambassador for Bradley every time.
She is truly a gift to the children and the families. We are just so grateful.
