Therapy is one of the first major steps a person can take on their healing journey—I welcome you with open arms! Together, we will explore your emotions and make connections, analyze relationships and how they impact you, and process through life challenges. As a client, you are the expert in your own life and it is my duty to help guide you on the right path to feeling better in body, mind, and soul.

I love working with all populations of people. I have experience working with a wide variety of ages (5–50) and specialize in adulthood (18–50). I have a passion in working with those suffering from anxiety disorders, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. I am culturally affirming and will always advocate for multicultural and social justice issues.

I am person-centered and trauma-informed, and draw on an eclectic approach, since I believe treatment should be tailored to each person’s specific needs. You will most likely find me operating from a REBT, DBT, Somatic-based, and/or IFS systems lens. My goal is to help identify parts of your self that need attention, reframe core beliefs to more helpful and accurate ones, and feel more connected and emotionally regulated in your nervous system.

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years of experience working with clients of different ages, backgrounds, and mental health needs. With a background in trauma and specialization in Christian counseling, I believe in taking a holistic, client-centered approach to healing. I work authentically with each of my clients to build a safe space to work through past trauma and loss while fostering physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and relational wellness.

Difficult emotions may bring you to therapy, but they can also serve as pathways to hope, curiosity, insight, and self-compassion. Turning toward these emotions can offer opportunities to heal and move forward. As a therapist, I have the privilege of working with school-age children and adolescents facing challenges in relationships, struggles at work or school, feelings of overwhelm or stagnation, low self-worth, previous trauma, or difficulty finding joy in life.

I’ve dedicated much of my career to working with children, adolescents, and families, as well as providing individual support to adults. I integrate SFBT, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and Positive Psychology techniques depending on each client’s individual needs. My approach is informal, warm, positive, and client centered.

Sometimes unexpected things happen, and we need additional support. I am here to help you navigate the challenges that life has presented to you.

I believe every child and family deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, especially during difficult seasons.

For over 10 years, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and families facing all kinds of challenges, including ADHD, behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I know that every child is unique, and every family has its own story. My role is to meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, and help you find a path forward that feels right for you.

I use a gentle, strength-based approach, grounded in trauma-informed care. That means I focus on what’s working, not just what’s hard, and I work to create a safe, trusting space where real healing and change can happen.

I draw from different therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, and family systems work. I also incorporate the Sanctuary Model, especially when working with children and families who’ve experienced stress or trauma. With my background in service coordination, I can also help families connect with community resources and ongoing support outside of therapy.

I work with children and pre-teens, teenagers, and parents and families navigating big emotions, behaviors, or life changes.

I earned my Master of Social Work from PennWest University, and my Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences and Human Services from Clarion University. I’m currently working toward full licensure as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), and I practice under supervision.

I care deeply about creating a space where kids and families feel safe, understood, and empowered, even when things feel overwhelming. You don’t have to go through it alone.

You don’t have to be an experienced artist to benefit from art therapy. Art therapy, as well as “traditional” therapy, is for anyone open to giving it a try. I work from a person-centered approach and believe that the client is in charge. I aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment to promote self-growth. I encourage my clients to advocate for themselves in and out of sessions and to feel comfortable with who they are.

I work for The Bradley Center’s residential treatment facility program as a mental health therapist and art therapist, in addition to providing outpatient art therapy services. I primarily work with adolescent females and have experience working with middle and high school-age children of various gender and sexual identities. I have experience working with diverse diagnoses, including anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders.

In addition to working from a person-centered approach, I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. I am a Provisional Registered Art Therapist (ATR-P) working toward becoming a Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) through supervised practice and preparing for the board examination.

Therapy can be a powerful, positive source of support for anyone at any age, no matter what they are going through.

Since 2017, I have worked with clients of all ages to face various challenges, including trauma, suicidal thoughts, anxiety and depression, OCD, difficult family situations, autism, and ADHD. I can work together with you to process emotions, set and work toward goals, strengthen relationships and self-esteem, and, most importantly, stay safe while doing so. Everyone I see is unique and has their own path to success. My goal is to help you feel heard and supported while working on your own goals.

Don’t let stigma scare you away—therapy doesn’t have to look just one way. Let’s do therapy your way, in a space that feels safe and tailored to your needs. I believe therapy should be a supportive space where you feel empowered, understood, and able to explore new ways of coping.

I work with children, teens, and adults, with experience ranging from ages 6 through 60. While I specialize in supporting teens through early adulthood as they navigate identity, transitions, and the challenges of growing into themselves, I also welcome and enjoy working with clients of all ages. My goal is always to empower each person, no matter what their stage of life, to build coping skills and move toward growth.

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT). With experience in outpatient, in-home, and school settings, I strive to help clients build resilience, discover their strengths, and move toward growth and healing.

Charles V. “Chuck” Lord, M.S., NCC, LPC

I have been working in the mental health community for the past 39 years. I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and began my career working with children as a summer camp counselor in 1983. Prior to my service at The Bradley Center, I was employed as a Child Care Worker from 1986–1994 at St. Francis Medical Center in Lawrenceville. I obtained my Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in 2004 and have been at The Bradley Center for the past 31 years in various capacities, most recently as the Senior Mental Health Therapist in the School-Based Program. I have also been an agency trainer for the past 27 years, conducting training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), The Sanctuary Model of Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing. I currently provide supervision for master’s-level clinicians seeking licensure and have previously taught as a part-time faculty member at Robert Morris University in the psychology department.

I have provided individual and family therapy in The Bradley Center’s Outpatient Services Program for the past five years, as well as school-based therapy for the past 1.5 years. I use a person-centered approach to therapy as well as CBT and TF-CBT to help clients address depression, anxiety, grief and loss, past trauma, and other mental health struggles.

I have lived in Pittsburgh my entire life and am an ardent sports fan. I can be found rooting for my favorite teams—the Pirates, Penguins, Steelers, Pitt Panthers, and the Central Catholic Vikings.

Hi, I’m Cydney! I’m a Licensed Social Worker who has been supporting children and families since 2014. My work has taken me into homes, schools, outpatient clinics, and residential programs, where I’ve had the privilege of helping children with autism and behavioral needs grow, thrive, and discover their strengths.

I take a person-centered approach, blending creativity with evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My goal is always to meet each child where they are, build a genuine connection, and create a safe, supportive space where growth feels possible. Whether it’s helping a child learn new coping skills, supporting parents through challenges, or celebrating small victories together, I believe progress comes through patience, collaboration, and compassion. I truly enjoy working alongside families and children as they navigate their unique journeys.

With a deep commitment to supporting children and adolescents through their most formative years, I specialize in helping young people navigate behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, and family dynamics. With 15 years of clinical experience, I use a strengths-based, evidence-informed approach to guide children and teens toward healthier behavior patterns and improved self-esteem.

Whether your child is dealing with anxiety, defiance, ADHD, school difficulties, or social struggles, I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where trust can grow. I partner closely with parents/caregivers, school staff and other team members to ensure consistent support at home and in school, tailoring strategies that are practical, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate.

I believe in the power of early intervention and the resilience of young minds, my mission is to help each child feel seen, heard, and capable of change.

Every single client entering my office is an inherently ideal human. When in the throes of struggle with mental health or difficult life circumstances, we sometimes see the world through squinted eyes, and it can be difficult for others—even oneself—to see that. From my perspective, the ideal client is simply one who shows up and is present as they are.

If you’re considering therapy, whether for yourself or your child, know that you are fundamentally incredible. This is a space to connect with and nurture what is already within. My name is Liba, and I am a master’s-level clinician with a specialization in Child and Person-Centered Play Therapy. This means that in my office, therapy is the experience of being accepted 100% as you are, so that clients can fully explore themselves through play and utilize their disposition toward growth when they see what they do and why. In the case of children, toys and play are their natural medium for communication. Engaging in play meets them where they are, supporting them in a genuine way. The path to counseling is often challenging, especially for parents who may fear judgment or feel shame about their child needing help. In my office, there is no judgment. I see you as the expert in your child, and together we’ll work as partners to support your child’s growth in a safe, empathetic space.
